How to Recover a Google Account Without Recovery Email or Phone Number
Losing access to a Google account can happen for different reasons — forgotten password, two-step verification issues, or even unauthorized access. In some situations, you may no longer have access to the recovery email or phone number linked to the account.
Below is a step-by-step process, performed entirely on a mobile phone, showing how account recovery is carried out when traditional recovery options are unavailable. Each step must be followed carefully and in the same sequence.
Step 1: Adjust Location Permissions for the Google App
- Navigate to the Google app on your phone.
- Hold the Google app icon.
- Tap on App information.
- Tap on Permissions.
- Tap on Location.
- Select Don’t allow.
- Tap Don’t allow again if prompted.
- Minimize this screen.
Step 2: Adjust Location Permissions for Google Chrome
- Navigate to the Google Chrome browser.
- Hold the Chrome app icon.
- Tap on App information.
- Tap on Permissions.
- Tap on Location.
- Select Don’t allow.
- Tap Don’t allow again if prompted.
- Go back.
